 A group of plants commonly called “shamrocks” because each leaf is divided into 3 or 4 segments. At night the flowers close up and the leaves fold down.

Maroon foliage. Each triangular leaflet has a central splash of bright fuchsia. Continuous show of small lilac flowers. If given enough light and warmth, this plant will grow and flower year round. It may go dormant in the winter if there is insufficient light and warmth. Does especially well under fluorescent lights.
